Wait did I hear this right. Did Colin tell Kenneth “if you don’t play new games you’ll never like them”. Is that the same guy who hates Nintendo for it’s searching out NEW markets and trying to develop NEW games. I guess Colin’s definition of new is “a new sequel” or “new but only new when it applies to 360 or PS3″
P.S I know nintendo has a lot of old franchise titles but its trying to take them in NEW directions.

Wow colin really did 50 reasons. That didn’t prove anything about gears 2 really it just proved that colin is the most strongly opinionated person on the planet. I guess colin is just one of those people who simply demand that you think the exact same way as he does and he’ll do anything for it.
Colin, I think Gears of War 2 is crap. I will only take that back if you give me another 50 different reasons gears 2 will be good. Deal?

I think dead space is prolly the least bit like that movie Jason X which was obviously an idea from an insane 4 year old traumatized child with down syndrome.
I thought mega man 9 was a sweet game back then but it would be better to make more of the same but new with cooler ideas rather than recycling games they’ve made.

Kings:
Orihime can reject events (thus bend time within a specific area/ place/ event). So theoretically it can “heal” your Visa card. If something happens she can reject it and selectively reverse it effects. In the manga (being far more advanced in story) she ends up being one of the most powerful characters in the story but, she often lacks resolve and balks under pressure.

Colin, I’m sorry but I’m not salivating over Gears 2. It might be game of the year, Who knows? When that happens you can rub it in all our faces. I just say that theres no way we can know a game is AMAZING until you’ve actually played it. Also I just wanted you to give me 100 reasons for Gears 2 it would be hilarious.

Wait so companies shouldn’t market there products in the media. So Colin’s book of economics and how to make a company profitable looks like this.
1) cater to the smaller niche markets fuck the larger untapped markets. because then you suck as a company.
1b) Oh and niche markets are self perpetuating. As long as you offer the exact same gaming experiences with slightly modified mechanics then you aren’t a rip-off.
2) don’t market your wares because you should just be making products and not try to sell them.
3) Having a product that might potentially break all time sales records means that you’re a shitty company. Product sales mean nothing, they are just flashy charts.
4)Don’t innovate… ever, because if you do you’ll kill the “hardcore” markets.
5) Dictate all your company decisions based on Colin’s sound advice.
It makes so much fucking sense now. I totally get what you are saying. It’s not 50 reasons but you definitely know so much more about business. I conceded to your great business knowledge.

First of all, everyone should market their games. I find it really sad how the amount of marketing for a game doesn’t measure exactly good it is because wouldn’t it be great to see your favorite game on the tv at every commercial?
Sadly, this ain’t no perfect world. Nintendo takes there shitgames makes sure you don’t see anything else other than their games in advertisements. Then sells there games to small children salivating over the fact that you can wiggle a piece of plastic or stand on a 300$ board and it makes something happen on the colorful screen of hypnosis. Then when there hard-working low paid parents say that they can’t afford it, The kid cries, smashes there head into the wall, cuts there wrists, and does whatever it takes to get a wii because “everyone else has one”.After they get one, each and every kid is supposed to like this terrible piece of shit otherwise there friends won’t like them. Then the kids become emo because they feel left out. Then BOOM! Puberty! Nintendo just fucked a kids life up.
As you can see, Nintendo doesn’t need to make good games when they can just spend it all on marketing to ruin children’s lives. The rotten bastards… haha

I understand what he is saying but the quality of a game does not affect their need to market. In fact, they should market “shitty” games more because they need to offset bad press from reviews.
As far as defining what “shitty games” are i’m highly suspect of what Colin defines as “shitty” since he seems to have a general hate hard on when it comes to the Wii. I.e. wii fit got a 8 on IGN. It seems everyone hates on the wii for making “shitty games” but there are just as many bad games (from a purely empirical/ rating basis) on EVERY OTHER GOD DAMN SYSTEM. It just happens to be the 360 and PS3 have more games thus this is reflected in the average rating scores.
You guys hate the Wii fit because you see no value in it, not it’s actual quality. That has been the thrust of my argument this entire time. If people can’t afford the wii then the market will correct this by decreasing sales but it hasn’t. So obviously people differ as to what people see as worthwhile. Your argument as to the Wii’s “shittyness” has nothing to do with anything but your own value judgements. I don’t like the Wii because personally it’s not particularly practical for me but this goes for it’s competition and computer games. But this does not mean I declare all video games as shitty. I’m not going on to forums arguing how all video games are “shitty” and how video games are ruining people’s childhoods.

Every street fighter game since turbo 2-shit, there was no need to improve the classic

Saints row- would be shit if the commercial didn’t have Eazy E Real Motherfucking G’s
World of Warcraft- Shit, now there is a game that ruins people lives and in some cases killed people.

I find it funny how you said “shitty” about 7 times in your entry. I did say that Nintendo games once in the beginning of my previous comment didn’t I? I think i also said in an episode or 2 back that Nintendo used to make good fun hardcore games but I don’t like the idea of Nintendo trying to make you “fit” through video games when it’s just as easy to go out side and do something.I find it disappointing that they really leaned away from those incredible games on the SNES. If they make an amazing SNES sequel for the wii, I will take everything I said back. but none of that virtual console stuff counts.
I just think marketing a game called WiiFit is stupid when you would get more exercise taking a shit lol (probably the most unrealistic comparison ever. sorry). I don’t mind the fact that their making more interactive games I’m just little peaved off that they think that they are making a game which will cure obese children all over the world. (sorry for another over exagerated sentence.)
I’d also like to know what everybody thinks about the amount of marketing each company produces. It’s all good MMD lol.

Ouch. That would be pretty funny though. To be honest, I think it would be easier to find a picture of mario bouncing off Marcus Fenix’s head. Less violent and all… Just another example of colins extreme hate for anything associated with the N word.
Just another late Saturday night for me. This time I was playing The Godfather coz I borrowed it from a friend. I was looking at my friends achievements and noticed it was WAY too easy to get achievements in Fable 2. I’m basically pissed because my friend passed me out in gamerscore. I would have gotten fable 2 now but I’m saving up for Fallout 3. I have a good feeling none of us are gonna be disappointed in Fallout 3.

yeah it’s easy to get the ten and five point achievements, however you have to work for the others or complete the game multiple times.
